Commerce program last fall
to climb
Mount Cho Oyu
and Everest. Eric lives in
Kingston
,
Ontario
and has been climbing with his brother since the age of 13 when he went to
Peru
and ascended to high camp on Alpamayo, and
Huascaran, Peru
’s highest mountain. Eric is an expert snowboarder who feels at home on steep slopes.

He is an avid iceclimber, and enjoys backcountry skiing in the mountains.
Not all of his sports take place in the winter; Eric is a certified diver, and has several
skydiving jumps under his belt in pursuit of his freefall skydiving certification.
Last fall Eric spent 6 weeks in
Tibet
and summitted
Cho Oyu
the world’s 6th highest mountain at 8201m. We think he is the youngest
Canadian to do so.
Eric is one of the summit climbers on the Everest expedition. When
asked about the climb, he is reported to have said “can I bring my board!?”
